Company History
Our parent company, Comprehensive Traffic Systems, Inc began as C & C Western Transportation, Inc
in March of 1987. A Denver-based contract carrier, C & C Western operated a fleet of trucks, providing
over the road transportation to selected shippers across the United States.
As we neared the millennium, the business climate with respect to our industry began to change.
Customer demands grew to include supply chain management and transportation management
services.
The demand for change became a reality in November of 1999, when C & C Western gave way to
Comprehensive Traffic Systems, Inc. Operating as a full service third party logistics provider, CTS
began facilitating shipper demands by creating a comprehensive offering of transportation services
designed to provide value, collaboration and results for customers.
With an abundant database of dry and refrigerated; we provide transportation management services
throughout North America. This controlled and deliberate growth propelled us in many directions and
had our customer base demanding more and more of us.
In September of 2007 it became necessary to open a completely separate division of Comprehensive
Traffic Systems, Inc focusing on nothing but the heavy haul market. Thus CTS Specialized, Inc.!
Combining over 70 years of transportation experience we have met the demand of our customers base
and have formed alliances with some of the largest names in the heavy equipment industry world
wide. From domestic and international transport, equipment inspection, equipment locating and
storage we perform a multitude of services around the globe.
